URI To Offer Two Intro. to ArcGIS Training Sessions

The URI Cooperative Extension program will once again be offering their three-day ESRI authorized instruction course for ArcGIS Desktop. It will be offered twice - January 13 – 15, 2009 and again in March 17 - 19,2009. This training program is designed to meet the needs of professionals and students who are interested in learning how to use GIS as a tool for managing and analyzing spatial data. The program meets the needs of new GIS users by introducing them to GIS concepts and the ArcGIS software. The course will also assist the seasoned GIS user who may be transitioning to the most recent version of the software. Service Pack 1 for ArcGIS 9.3

If you are running ArcGIS version 9.3 (Desktop, Server, IMS, etc.), ESRI has released a service pack with performance improvements and maintenance fixes .  You can download here.
